A Letter from the Council of Bishops

Dear Colleagues,

 

During this time of preparation for the 2012 General Conference, various issues of importance to us will draw our attention. As we share our hopes, our aspirations and our expectations for the Church and ourselves, I pray that we will do so in a spirit of Christian conferencing.

 

At our last meeting, the Council of Bishops issued this letter to the Church regarding one issue that has often resulted in hurt and division. I share that letter with you now. It is my prayer that our unity in Christ can help us bridge any differences between us.
