Conference Committee on Nominations

Welcome to the Conference Committee on Nominations!

The Conference Committee on Nominations seeks to connect passionate, compassionate, visionary, initiative-taking, and spiritual leaders with task groups, activities, structures, agencies, committees and councils that are committed to the primary task of the Annual Conference.  We are always available and willing to help persons fulfill their calling by sharing their gifts, skills, and experiences.  We are always seeking for names of persons willing and able to serve.  We have a deep commitment to inclusiveness and seek to invite clergy, lay, men, women, persons of all ages, abilities of different racial and cultural backgrounds and geographic diversity into the work of ministry in and through the annual conference.

Our main responsibilities are:
 
  • Prepares nominations for conference officers, boards, divisions, commissions, and committees, except where specific provision is otherwise mandated.
  • The committee meets three times per year on Saturdays at the Conference Center in October, February, and April.
  • The committee members are requested to attend the Annual Conference Session.
